Book review: The ABCs of Affirmation Starring The Hiccups by Dave Ball.

Publisher's description
Can Positive Affirmations For Toddlers Be Life-Changing?
Yes! By learning to practice positive affirmations at a young age, kids can become much more prepared to use them when facing difficulties later in life (Bloch, 2015).

Our belief systems are developed from our environment (friends, family, TV, internet videos).

As parents and caretakers, it is our responsibility to teach children how to take control of those beliefs from an early age and give them the tools to create a positive mindset of self-worth.

Our Behavior Is A Reflection Of The Way We Feel About Ourselves.
When children lack self-confidence they don’t believe in themselves-a mindset that hinders them from reaching their full potential.

When children are taught they are special, loved, and valued, they approach life with confidence.

Therefore, it is critically important that children are encouraged with positive thoughts and given the freedom to experience emotions.

Positive thoughts can assist children with self-regulation, self-worth, self-awareness, and self-confidence.

Affirmations are a powerful and holistic way of building a positive mind and happy children.

DON’T HOLD YOUR CHILD BACK FROM FULFILLING THEIR DREAMS…
Nurture their authentic self with the ABCs of Affirmation, starring the Hiccups!

My review (first pubished on Reader's favorite)

ABCs of Affirmation Starring The Hiccups, Positive Affirmations For Toddlers, by Dave W. Ball is a wonderful educational book for kids. It is beautifully and colorfully illustrated by Design Pickle. The first page is extremely interesting and shows parents how to use this wonderful guide. Indeed, learning something new and using the power of three (repetition for maximum impact) are great pieces of advice. ABCs of affirmation allows the readers to get into a positive mood and to be their best selves one letter at a time. This book teaches kids how to be happy and healthy. Everything in this children’s book helps us and our kids to challenge negative thoughts, nurture our child’s authentic self, boost their self-esteem. Positivity in our world in crisis is vital. We can witness so much aggression on TV, on social networks, even in real life. Let’s help our children and students feel loved and be positive!
To conclude, a stupendous book! I loved all the letters, advice but my favorite one is “unique”. In fact, everyone is unique and most children feel bad because they are different. It is so important to let them know from a very young age that being different, having special talents, skills, is a good thing. I highly recommend this gem of a book! It should be compulsory!
