Book review: Summertime with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid.

The publisher's description
Summertime is just around the corner and Snowman Paul is worried that he might not "fit in" in the hottest season of the year. Can a snowman have fun in the summertime?
Leave it to Snowman Paul and Dan to figure out a way to have fun together all year round.

My book review
Summertime with Snowman Paul by Yossi Lapid is beautifully illustrated by Joanna Pasek. The diverse situations Snowman Paul finds himself in allow the readers to empathize with him. Dan, who is a lovely boy, has a great idea to keep his favorite Snowman happy and comfortable despite the heat. This new opus is as fabulously positive and entertaining as the first books in the series. The stories continue to help children deal with a variety of issues. In this case, Snowman Paul feels he does not fit in, in the summer. We can all understand why. And this is something many children also feel when they move out, change schools, find new friends, go on holidays, etc. Reading this story with kids is a great and fun way to make them understand that everything is fine, that they should be patient, and learn to get to know their new surroundings, circumstances, and discover new friends. Everything is possible as long as you do not give up or give in to shame, despair, or fear. A must-read!
