An adventure-story about self-discovery, The Journey that's Ours introduces young readers to their unique individuality and promotes growth in self-confidence. In such a fast-changing environment with exposure to so much more, tools such as mind-mapping, conflict resolution, and how the law of attraction really works, are needed to help us keep up while staying true to ourselves. Continuing with their adventures, teenage siblings Joel and Jina once again meet Magic who guides them through the fun and testing elements of their everyday lives. Jina falls in love and gets hurt, while Joel has to deal with the pains of standing up both on his surfboard and as a young man.

These two books are perfect for young readers. They teach them valuable skills and will introduce them to concepts which they will be needing throughout their life and which tend to be difficult to acquire: goal-setting, visualisation, affirmation in The Power that’s Ours and mind-mapping, conflict resolution, … in The Journey that’s Ours. But they teach those concepts and skills in a fun way, with the two great stories of two young children, Joel and Jina, as well as with "Do It Yourself”-type activities in order to make sure the concepts are understood and put into practice right away.
The black and white illustrations are magnificent in The Power that’s Ours.
Two delightful stories, two very useful personal development books, two beautiful works that will help our children evolve and lead a happier life!
