Make a short social network post about your favourite activities or places in Jamaica.

Create your fake Facebook post.

 

3.       Listening time! (pairwork)

Listen to this song by Bob Marley and sum up what you understood in French.

Share your findings with one of your classmates.

4.       Let’s design a word cloud (teamwork)

Competition! 

Find as many words as you can about carnivals and Jamaica in a team of 4 students.

Then you can make a word cloud with them. You can draw it on paper or you can use an online tool such as WordArt, WordClouds.com, or ABCya’s word cloud generator.

Your word clouds will be part of a poster for your English classroom.

 

5.       Early finishers

 

·         Watch parts of this video.

·         Choose the foods you would like to write about.

·         And make a poster about Jamaican food to share with your class.
